Task
The goal was to develop a website showcasing lighting services (homes, streets, events) using WordPress and the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugin. The project focused on flexible content management via custom fields (e.g., project parameters, pricing, images) and a rapid launch (1 week) with minimal programming dependency thanks to ACF.
Key Features
The website includes a catalog of services with custom fields. Each service (e.g., "Outdoor Lighting") has unique parameters such as power, lamp type, and installation zones. This was implemented via ACF by creating field groups for service pages, incorporating text descriptions, images, and specification tables. Price calculation was based on client input (object area, lighting type, number of lamps) with pricing data stored in ACF custom fields editable by the administrator.
The portfolio section features a gallery of projects filtered by categories (home, office, event) and budget. ACF was used to add metadata to each project, including descriptions, images, budget details, and implementation dates.
A contact form with custom fields allows clients to select a service type, upload drawings or photos, and specify preferences. This functionality was also implemented using ACF.

The website was built on WordPress as a foundation for rapid development and flexibility. ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) was used to create custom fields and manage data without coding.
Development Stages (1 Week)
The process began with installing WordPress, configuring the theme, and setting up the ACF plugin. Next, custom post types (e.g., "Lighting Projects") were created via ACF. Field groups for services, portfolio, and blog sections were added. The homepage was designed with a portfolio filter and pricing calculator. Contact forms and CRM integration followed, alongside SEO optimization and mobile responsiveness setup. Finally, functionality was tested, and the site was launched.
Results
The website was launched within 1 week, enabling immediate client acquisition. Content management became highly convenient, as administrators could edit services, projects, and pricing directly through the ACF interface without programming knowledge. Request conversion rates increased by 30% due to the interactive pricing calculator and portfolio filter.
